Smile Whitening
This is the primary elective cosmetic service that many patients ask questions about, and for good reason!  A trip to the drug store aisle is enough to confuse even a dentist.  There are so many claims made, with products that range from strips that are supposed to stick to your teeth, special paint on gels, tray systems, toothpastes, rinses... can anyone sort this all out?  What about whitening in the dentist office?  Is it better than the drugstore?  Does the whitening light in the office work miracles?  Can you achieve excellent results with a professionally designed take home system?

Day White Whitening System

The Day White Whitening System is the primary way that most of our patients achieve pearly whites in 2-3 weeks.  This is a professionally designed take home system that includes custom fitted trays, special whitening gels, a shade guide and plastic storage case.  The gel is placed in the tray according to the directions for 15-20 minutes at a time.  Two sessions are recommended daily for best results, although once daily works just as well, but takes twice as long.  The ACP formulation helps to control sensitivity and rebuild weakened enamel.

Night White Whitening System

This is an overnight system that some patients prefer.  The specially designed carrier trays are loaded with the appropriate amount of gel and worn overnight.  The next morning, they are removed and within days, a noticable whitening begins to happen.  The ACP formulation helps to control sensitivity and rebuild weakened enamel.  In 3 or more weeks, your teeth will become their whitest.

 Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics

Senior Citizens, seniors in high school, and even children as young as three have been or are undergoing enhancement of their smile or facial features.  Dr. Day has studied with clinicians from around the world and strongly believes that children should be given the guidance to growth so that their mouth and face are the framework for a beautiful smile.  Many young children can be fitted with custom designed appliances that will guide their growth so that as the permanent teeth erupt, the proper space and room is available for them to come in. It is even possible to get impacted teeth to come in the right place if growth potential still exists and an appliance can be designed to guide that growth. Adults consult with us to find a way to achieve minor straightening of a specific area in a few months or other times for more comprehensive orthodontic care.

Conventional Braces or Removable Aligners or Appliances

Getting straight teeth today doesn't automatically mean braces!  Invisalign started the revolution and there are more options today!  Years ago braces were on for 4-5 years and the process was limited by the wire alloys and design of the braces.  With modern materials and methods, it is possible to get your teeth straightened with braces on for a matter of months.  Some people opt for removable custom appliances that are practically invisible.  They control when they wear them and when they don't, and have the added convenience of easy cleaning and maintenance.

 Custom Designed Dentures

Many people have no teeth and are embarrased by the appearance of their false teeth.  They might be uncomfortable, look phony, be worn out, or just plain ugly!  Dr. Day has received extra training and takes great pride in designing just the right smile to put on your face.  He would be glad to consult with you about your present false teeth and let you know about what is new in the field of  dentures.

Porcelain Veneers

Just about everyone has heard of Lumineers.  The thin layer of porcelain is crafted by an experienced dental ceramacist to Dr. Day's exacting prescription.  There are many different kinds of porcelain veneers and the doctor will be happy to recommend what is best for you.  Imagine leaving with a smile that you always dreamed about.  Why wait?  We are just a phone call away.
